Universe Kogaku introduces the UV1220HR, High-Resolution 12mm UV-Compatible C-Mount Lens assembly. The UV1220HR achieves higher resolution compared to conventional UV lenses. This lens is compatible with UV-B and UV-C (deep ultraviolet) wavelengths: 193nm, 222nm, 230nm, 265nm, 280nm, 310nm, 365nm, and more.
Semi-custom options are available, including shape modifications and mount changes. The UV1220 is suitable for FA/machine vision, and research applications: Inspection of minute scratches, Material identification not visible in visible light, Excitation reactions, Hydrogen flame visualization, Discharge visualization.
This lens works with Sony’s new sensor, IMX487 UV High Resolution sensor. For users looking for high transmission at certain UV wavelength, Universe is able to design the coating for that wavelength.
