The type of camera that you use and the particular way in which you will be using your camera to capture images will have a significant bearing on the type of camera lens and camera lens mount that you purchase. - The C-mount lens adapter will be affixed to the camera body by aligning the index markers on the camera with the index markers noted on the lens. The C-mount adapter mounts much the same way a lens does to the camera body. Make certain the adapter is securely locked into place.
- Once the C-mount adapter is in place, the photographer can utilize the various lenses he carries with him to capture the perfect shot. Again, when removing and replacing a lens from the adapter, the index markers must be in alignment and the lens must be snapped securely in place.
- It may take a few test shots to become accustomed to the additional weight or bulk the C-mount adapter adds to the camera, even though it is minimal, some photographers find it takes them a few practice shots to “recalibrate” themselves to the feeling of the camera.
